Shopping for Kids Rugs
Recently, we’ve done some remodeling around the house, nothing fancy, but it was certainly overdue to get rid of some things. After we were done with the kids’ room, which is 3.5 by 4.5 meters, we were left with a lot of open space and I was looking for something that will tie the room together.
Miss Amara
Of course, I was looking for something casual, something contemporary, but the problem was in the room itself, it was a very hard pick, nothing seemed to fit. Simply because it was kind of assembled from different periods of time, well literally, there is a 3 year gap between our older and younger toddler and the beds don’t even match, the older one chose the color for the walls and at this moment everything looks like a one big, chaotic cacophony. The fact that the toys are constantly lying on the floor doesn’t help as well.
This actually gave me an idea - we took our kids to pick a rug for themselves. Well, the older one was doing all the picking, the two year old was just asking for ice cream all the time. Some would be surprised, but a couple of toddlers aren’t that interested in home décor. Imagine that! I’m kidding, of course, but we did spend all morning, had lunch, and ice cream, and after that we gave up our search for rugs and I’ve simply decided to find something online.

After some search I found this website, called
Miss Amara, and my older one instantly got glued to the screen, looking at this Neverland Blue & White Clouds Kids Rug. He loves Peter Pan, but what he loves more are airplanes and transformers, and the idea of having a vast blue sky on the floor seemed delightful to him to say at least, he couldn’t wait for the delivery truck to arrive.
I have to say, up front, that I was worried about the price, especially since I didn’t have the chance to examine it before making a purchase, but when the delivery arrived I was pleasantly surprised. The patterns are in high quality; the online picture has hardly presented it as good as this rug looks like in person, when you get to feel it. It is smooth, not too fuzzy, and very soft to the touch which is really nice since kids are playing on top of it all the time and it also keeps them warm.

This is a great value for the price, it’s thick, easy to maintain, and I didn’t notice any shedding at all. The fiber, the material, is very nice and cozy, but it’s a high quality product at the same time. Everything is simply great, and I would recommend everyone to add Miss Amara on their checklist when they are going rug shopping.
I’ve done a lot of online reviews, I have the time, and usually I can find something to warn people about, something that will help people to make a decision, but I simply don’t have a single remark on this one. I love it, my kids love it, and I’ve found some patterns that I would love to see in our living room so I guess our home remodeling isn’t quite done.
