Melbourne, fashion could soon have a new address. This new locale called Emporium Melbourne is right in between Bourke Street Mall and Melbourne Central. Nearby shopping centres have had to tart up in order to keep their clientele as a result. As of April 2014, Melbourne City is home to a brand new shopping centre.
Emporium Melbourne is home to the first ever UNIQLO clothing outlet to open in Australia. From this winter clothing brands birth, UNIQLO quickly expanded to the Glasshouse in Sydney, and to a smaller store in Melbourne's Swanston Street. This new shopping centre is not afraid to share this success with all of Melbourne. Furthermore, Emporium Melbourne will be home to the second Topshop to open in Melbourne, following suit from South Yarra.
The UNIQLO store is the show stopper at this new shopping space. There are two massive floors of winter t-shirts, cashmere jumpers and light coats to name. Really impressive.
The design brings you to the likes of fashionable Westfield Sydney, with a office like concierge desk with a massive bunch of yellow flowers. There are more shops expected to open. Once they do, this shopping centre will be busy and amazing. You have to travel on the escalators pretty high to enjoy the food court area too.
There is almost an entire floor of shopping dedicated to the little ones, with the most luxe clothing and toys you will ever see.
Otherwise Emporium Melbourne spells luxe, with spaces for the adults to relax and to chill out. This shopping space also connects to David Jones at Bourke Street Mall, and features quality retailers such as Camilla, L'Occitane and Peter Alexander to name.
Melbourne, you now have more choice when it comes to fashion shopping in particular, as well as shopping for the kids in the city. Fashion stylists are also available at your beck and call.
